Description
This is the kit of parts required to update the early non-waisted brake pump push rod to the later ‘waisted’ type with the teardrop end.
The waist in the push rod was introduced to prevent damage to the pump if the push rod seized. In the event of seizure, the push rod is sacrificial, bending or breaking off rather than deforming the internals of the brake pump.
It consists of:
